Now for something completely different. More instrumental, yet a smoother vibe. I'm not a virtuoso on the electric piano, but a threw in a lead for good measure. This is intended to exorcise the demons of stress from your mind with a bit of smooth electronic jazz.
The link is a download; not a stream. The high ends are aliasing thru soundclick, while on my computer it sounds fine. So I recommend downloading to get the clearer sound.

The only suggestion I have for this song has to do with the drums and the cymbal pattern. For the cymbal pattern that starts out the song, I would've liked the pattern to change once in awhile. For ex., at 0:56 I think that the pattern should've changed a bit to add a different pace to the music. Or maybe you could've added an effect to the original pattern for that measure. And at the same time, I think the drums should have changed there too (just the drum pattern). And then just keep doing that for each of those measures like the ones that start at 0:56.
Anyways, I liked the song a lot. It sounds fantastic. And I think you did a great job with the leads. Good work. _________________ Like my Facebook Page!

Thanks George!
I'm feeling those demons of stress fleeing from my mind....
This is really smooth, very creative as always, and I enjoyed listening to it - I like the way it starts, and you did great on the keys too!
And I wanted to say congratulations on still posting a song every month even though most of us have deserted you. We're still around though, so don't think you're alone just yet.
Regards from
Dee |

Hi George, another great song mate well done, although I would say that the cymbals are a bit too upfront for me, like their hanging over the mix itself, maybe they need to be pulled back just a little mate, just an idea, overall a great song as usual George! well done!

I've had some comments from others regarding the ride cymbals, so on a re-do I will change them up a bit. The whole song was based on a constant rhythmic element, but now that it's thought thru there are other variations I can try. This one was fun though being as smooth as it is, and a bit of a departure for my style. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose
