Is there an option for turning of the touch sensitivity? I can't find it for the life of me.. Surely there is?!

No, there isn't. Someone started another thread about this in the last couple days (for the TR, I think, but the Triton will be no different).

There is no way to do it globally or in combi/sequencer mode, but you can do this for every program individually (very useful for leads and organs but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it). If you want to have your combis also non-touch-sensitive you'll have to change every programs parameters that make that combi.

It is not quite that simple - I'm assuming you're never edited/made your own programs before. The velocity is one of many sources that can be applied to many different things. for example in the amp page for each oscillator you will find velocity amounts, but velocity is also sometimes routed to the filters, to the pan, and it is also used to switch between hard and soft strike samples for example in a piano patch.

here is the other post that came up the other day:

Yes(well cheating actually)

There is no actual on or off setting, you can alter the Velocity curves(in global menu),which gives different velocity settings to give you a desired playing sensitivity which is similar to turning it on or off

You'll find the settings within the Global page menus, you'll find the info on Page 113/114 of the Parameter Guide for the various curve settings.

setting 8 will give you the closest effect to turning it off so that no matter how soft or hard you play the notes will play with the same volume (obviously this will affect the playing of timbres in combi mode who rely on velocity switching to bring sounds in or out)

These settings work Globally,so you only need to alter them in the Globals menu, there is no need to alter or edit every programs settings like some people suggest if you simply want a constant velocity Question

MENU --> AMP --> amp 1 mod (or amp 2 mod) --> velocity intensity

if you want no touch sensitivity put the velocity intensity to +00

I think you can do it globally. hehe

Global -> Velocity curve -> set it to 8!

well the velocity curve 8 is pretty close but doesn't give you a constant 127 velocity all the time... there is still slight variations but if you want to change it globally that is the only and closest way to do it...

As a newbie, it was just what I needed, understanding how to affect a program's velocity sensitivity, ontop of the global velocity setting. Great, thanks !!
