Hi

My floppy drive in my i4S has recently died, but I have all my data backed up on my PC and have a midi-usb cable.

I can't seem to get my Windows 7 PC to recognise the keyboard to do a data dump though - do I need a specific piece of software to transfer files back/forth??

Any other ideas??

Hi Stillwaters11

I have the i30hd

The floppy failed and I inserted a new floppy drive, this did not work and I had to get one via a Korg agent. Seemingly some will work and some will not.

On transferring data I bought a host to pc cable which comes with software, I never got it to work, which may be down to me.

I have a midi to usb cable which works fine with the music progs but it is not recognised in "My computer"

Hope this helps

Thanks Keith

What music progs are you running that will let you communicate via the midi-usb cable??
