Hello guys,

I recently got a micro XL. I installed the latest drivers and Sound Editor. All has been done by the book.

To my huge surprise with this synth, it has a silly driver issue and my pc cannot see it.

Whenever i try to receive a program from the micro or i want to send one to it from within the Sound Editor i get an annoying "MIDI port is not specified".

I tried everything i could think of like only connecting my micro to my pc and no other usb devices, instaling/reinstalling the drivers but no joy.

I refuse to believe this cannot be solved.

Anyone have any ideas how to solve this please?

Solved the issue. Dont know why/how but after reinstalling one more time the micro now shows in the Sound Editor preferences.

I find this quite funny

If anyone else need to know in my case it only works if i select in the Sound Editor from Options>Preferences:

midiIN: microKORG XL KBD/KNOB

midiOUT: microKORGXL SOUND

This did not show in there before i momentarily disconnected other usb devices and i reinstalled the driver one more time but then again i had tried that before posting the first time.

So hope everyone else who had issues as well gets on with this well.

Maybe i'll post a few pathces now that i got it running Smile

Cheers!
