I have recently purchased a Korg Zero 4 mixer to use with a set of 1210s and Traktor Scratch Pro.
What i want to know is will i be able to connect the mixer to a Macbook or will i need a Macbook Pro(with a firewire port)?
Is there any way of connecting it to a normal Macbook(no firewire port)?
Thanks in advance.
P.S:I haven't actually got the mixer yet so i'm not sure what other ports/connections are available to me |

Hey there, you will need a firewire port on the mac to use it to it's full potential, any adaptors you use (FW - USB) will just create a bottle neck situation. the Zero 4 is an awesome mixer and works flawlesly with a mac pro via fire wire & TSP. _________________ Zzzzzero4 is 4 me........ |

You can probably download the manual right now from www.korg.com, and that will tell you what connections you have available without you having to wait for the Zero 4 to arrive. _________________ Keyboard Rig: Korg Kronos, Moog Sub 37, Waldorf Blofeld Module, Neo Instruments Ventilator II, Moog MiniFooger Delay, Strymon BigSky, Roland KC-150, Mackie 802-VLZ4 Mixer |
