Hi,

Well, I'm willing to get a KORG SP-250 Digital Portable Piano Stage.

My question is: I tested the gear at the music store, but I'm not satisfied with realisticness of the Pianos but then comes an idea int my mind, since it has weighted 88 keys witch I need for my most jazz gig here now, do you think I can get Realistic Virtual Piano VSTi program from my laptop then use a midi interface with the SP-250?

p.s: Sorry, I know this is out of SV-1 topics. But I need your help please. May GOD bless you.

That sounds like a whole lot of trouble just to get a decent piano sound. You might want to look at a different instrument that gives you the basic sounds you want. You should be able to fire up your KB, push a button, and PLAY. That's what hardware is supposed to do. Demo different digital pianos and keep looking.

Edit: I looked up the SP250. It lists for $1199. One company is selling it for $699.00. Honestly, you have to spend more to get a good piano sound. You can't expect a Steinway piano for the price of a toy. Save your money and keep looking at different pianos until you find something you like that you can afford.
