Combining sets
I am considering purchasing the additional Pa2X memory along with the Irish Acts new mega Irish piano.
I'm wondering what the latest progress is with methods being used to combine .SETs Ideally I would like to combine the Irish piano with Sharp's Vocal Assault and Orchestral voices.
Is there yet a straight forward way to do this ??

It's not straightforward, to be honest.
However, if you can confirm to me by email with your purchase receipt or license number for Irish Acts Pianos, Vocal Assault and Orchestral Voices (or any other combination of Sounds from Irish Acts) then I will combine them for you and upload to the Irish Acts server a combined SET file which is constructed exactly the way you want it to be. Just tell me which sounds you want to be located in which User Bank ...
This service is provided by me, free of charge, to any customer of Irish Acts sounds that include the Irish Grand Piano. I do receive a 50% share of the revenue from the Irish Grand Piano, and I hope that by providing this service it will result in increased sales

While I do the work I will also write up a step-by-step user guide with screen shots, which I will publish on the forum in exchange for members' indulgence when I occasionally promote the Irish Grand Piano on the forum.
Best regards,
Rob

He has only 12 posts and all they are are just attacking me, nothing else, he
is doing it for the last few months for some reason. I dont understand what
is his problem with my answer given to the guy above, i think i gave the guy
an answer that Nobody could in this forum, tonz of links and info to read about
what he needs...this guy either needs a life or drugs...i mean need drugs not on drugs.
I completely ignored him till now on any other post and will do so in the future,
this was just to let him know that i see if he think i dont see his posts.
His mother probably has to give birth to him like another 10 time for him to
be at my level here on forums, music, life or anything so i wont waste no more
words, i'll let him continue on his own after this, James takes care of the rest.

Hi Rob,
Thank you for your very kind response and I will let you have the details when I have made the purchase (I was part of the PA1X Pro project for Sharp a few years ago. And vocal assault is virtually my all time fave sample set. Some of the New Age choirs are unbelievable. By the sound of it, the Irish piano is going to be absolutely immaculate too)
Just another quickie regarding the expansion board. Does it have to be purchased from korg or is it safe to use third party memory. If so - can anyone recommend one they have successfully installed.
Thank you again Rob

I have the same sounds from Sharp (Irish Acts) myself and combining them all into one SET file is something I will be doing for myself anyway, so it will be a pleasure to help you at the same time and write a tutorial. I need permission from Sharp that he is prepared to make space and secure accounts available on his server for the download. It will be a big file. I hope maybe he can link it into his shopping site in some way.
The EXB-M256 card is a proprietary card from Korg and PC SoDIMM memory although the same physical size is a different pinout and definitely does not work and worse - may damage your Pa2x. There are other threads about availability in Europe if you search for EXB-M256.
Best regards,
Rob

you promised me long ago that you will do this to me but trust me,
pretty soon YOU WILL REGRET! This post was CLEAN until you cam in.
The post on SZ had and has nothing to do with what you wrote, if James or
anyone takes a look at this post or any post will see that YOU hijack every
single post with my name, dont feel safe cuz you are too far away, nothing

Stop hijacking peoples posts, if you want something translated for you
(which you know what it means and it is YOU that quoted that) as
on SZ stop hijacking posts with my name in it, open a new post with it.
You promise that you would do this to me long ago but trust me you wont
succeed on doing anything, i am simply laughing at you everytime you do it
and there is many other, i will post e-mails and PMs on this topic but leave
the guy alone it is not fair hijacking his post.
If you need attention or if you were molested 60 years ago thats not my problem.
