The Xenyx series don't actually have USB. It is poorly advertised as such.
I bought an 1832FX a few years back and it has been a great mixer! but the 'USB' is actually just a dongle very similar to their UCA202 and similar products. I connect it to the AUX output - on the smaller models you can use the 'mute' button then to select which channel you are recording, on the larger ones you have seperate buttons for the various output busses. Still, you can only record two channels (or a stereo pair) at once.
So yes it would work for recording just your triton, or if you have everything mixed already on your gear. _________________ Current Gear: Kronos 61, RADIAS-R, Volca Bass, ESX-1, microKorg, MS2000B, R3, Kaossilator Pro +, MiniKP, AX3000B, nanoKontrol, nanoPad MK II,
