The level of my left channel on my M50 began to drop and distort, then eventually died (but only with both outputs connected - they were ok individually).
I was able to re-solder the ground connection on the right channel to fix it. I had to leave the soldering iron on there for a few seconds extra to get a nice shiny weld. Looks like there was a last minute mod done one that connection with an extra wire added. That was probably enough to make it susceptible to a cold solder connection. |

I had similar problems with the stereo balance on my Radias, it turned out to be the volume knob which is a stereo analog controller that the audio passes straight through. _________________ Current Gear: Kronos 61, RADIAS-R, Volca Bass, ESX-1, microKorg, MS2000B, R3, Kaossilator Pro +, MiniKP, AX3000B, nanoKontrol, nanoPad MK II,

My m50 had hardware issue (left side output in headphones and audio outs was significantly higher). Just opened the back plate and wiggled one white connector with I think three wires in it. It's located just behind the outputs. I put a little multi purpose lubricant there, maybe the connector had just been oxidized. Works great. Very easy process [/img] |
