HOLY MOSES!!! OMG OMGOMG!!!
but my ds is broken ;'(
Make Trinity for 3DS then!!!!!
Or even better, make Triton, with sampler and put Moss in it too!
And continue on the DS-10 series too!
I want it all, now!
please. |

The DS doesn't have the capabilities or even the hardware input to sample anything. Really looking forward to this though; hope it has all the expansions like the M1 virtual instrument. _________________ Keyboard Rig: Korg Kronos, Moog Sub 37, Waldorf Blofeld Module, Neo Instruments Ventilator II, Moog MiniFooger Delay, Strymon BigSky, Roland KC-150, Mackie 802-VLZ4 Mixer |

I was talking about the 3DS, which is massively more powerful successor for DS-series. No inputs ofcourse, but with mic you could make playful own samples, or transfer samples from pc (wirelesly ofcourse).
With 3DS's analogue joystick you could also imitate korgs joystick. I'm not sure if its true, but I heard it also has much better sound chip, although DSi's(different that the original has) sounchip was already surprisingly nice! |

Well, the DS and DSi have a mic as well, but would you really want to sample stuff with a mic like that? It probably wouldn't be that good quality, unlike the rest of the instrument. We'll see, though. _________________ Keyboard Rig: Korg Kronos, Moog Sub 37, Waldorf Blofeld Module, Neo Instruments Ventilator II, Moog MiniFooger Delay, Strymon BigSky, Roland KC-150, Mackie 802-VLZ4 Mixer |

The big question is does the M01 sync up to the DS-10...? This is a must have feature in my view, and will open for amazing possibilities. Add a future sampler and the studio is complete |

my biggest problem is that on the m3 i work with either 4 or usually 8 measure loops to build a song and now i'm stuck w 2 measure blips that repeat endlessly such that i can't stand working on them for length without wanting to shut it off and take a break, maybe i need to switch quickly into song mode and string some patterns together so i'm not hearing 2 measures scramble my brains _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

It *might* be possible on the DSi, but the DS and DS Lite have no internal storage so there'd no way to transfer data between the two. Using one program on one DS to sequence and send data to another DS though might work well. _________________ Keyboard Rig: Korg Kronos, Moog Sub 37, Waldorf Blofeld Module, Neo Instruments Ventilator II, Moog MiniFooger Delay, Strymon BigSky, Roland KC-150, Mackie 802-VLZ4 Mixer |

Actually, I'm thinking about the way it's possible to sync several Nintendos running Korg DS-10. |

M01 don't replace DS-10, its a little different beast. Its best to have both...and I mean the best! And I hope they continue to make sequels for both of these synths, and I will get them all HAHAHAHAHAAA!!!! I'm mad about them! |

Well there will be a point to where they will merge DS-10 to M01.
But yeah this is basically a DS version of the Kaossilator.
I am curious about the wi fi features. I'm guessing there is a download package to to help transfer audio files via Wifi. _________________ Korg PX5d

AHA, but it DOES, in a way -
The DSi has a smart media card input, so you could load sample hits in that way!
(as we can on Kaoss 3 and Tenori on, for example)
Also Bluetooth capability, so could upload
It's SO obviously a feature we all would love, they should do it!
We KNOW DS10+ uses internal sampling technology (to do the drums)
(also the new iMS20, see my review!) so why not let us use it externally?
It also has a (probably lo fi! ) microphone built in, as well as 2 cameras!
you can picture chat (?) with people
and I saw this game "system flaw" which uses the camera to sample
your real scenery and add aliens to blast) weird _________________ Now Rocking ELECTRIBE 2 !
