Nope don't think so.
I'm delighted we didn't win. Did you see what we sent over to Germany? OMG...!!!! We have no shame.

Hahaha, quite funny
There were several decent participants this year, I think, and Azerbasjan was one of the best imo. I also liked Germany's contribution |

Eurovision is like a car crash in motion. Awful, but you're compelled.
For all the predictions you may do, it never goes the way you think.
From the entries (before the comp.) I thought Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Finland, Denmark and France would do really well.
I'm so surprised that Estonia and Finland ended up so low, I could never have predicted that. Or even Azerbaijan's meteoric win (congrats to them btw!), it completely slipped under my radar.
France's artist/song was seemingly too cultured for the competition, yet Italy's was right up there. You could never guess that.
Lena, hot as hell, bit tuneless last night but love the unique vox and understated electro style, lacked a memorable hook to win I think. Hope she isn't the only talented gal in Germany though? Would've been nice to have seen another German act being given an opportunity.
And what's the deal with our UK artist(s), Blue? I thought the competition was for amateurs rather than professionals? Otherwise Ireland could put U2/Bono on stage and bring it home every year. _________________ [Free Moss Set For All Workstations With Moss Expansion]

If I took part in voting I certainly voted for Germany - it was nearly only what caught my attention, when I watched finalists recapped on youtube. |

It's obvious that Eurovision is a fake contest!!
First, very few people vote the song they like.
The most of people vote friendly countries!!
Secondly, many good songs do not pass in the finals!!!
I am not saying that the final songs was not good but, there where songs that was much better than some of the final ones!!!
And last, I am curious why we call it EUROvision?? Many countries are not in Europe!!!
It's all about SMS money, unfortunately...!!!!!
Anyway, Azerbaijan's song was one of the best songs!! Congratulations!!!
Regards,

Oh how the bad memories come flooding back...
All those British entries that made me feel like emigrating (whoops, I did!!!)
Like
1966: A Man Without Love - Kenneth McKellar. Final position: 9th
1967: Puppet on a String - Sandie Shaw. Final position: 1st (Winner)
1968: Congratulations - Cliff Richard. Final position: 2nd
1969: Boom-Bang-A-Bang - Lulu. Final position: 1st (Winner)
1970: Knock, Knock, Who's There? performed by Mary Hopkin. Final position: 2nd.
1971: Jack in the Box performed by Clodagh Rogers. Final position: 4th.
1972: Beg, Steal or Borrow performed by The New Seekers. Final position: 2nd.
1973: Power To All Our Friends performed by Cliff Richard. Final position: 3rd.
...now they are starting to eat into my brain after all these years.....
Back in those days, no band in their right minds ever dared play cover versions of any of these for fear of being lynched by the audience.......
Who started this topic anyway.... whoops ....
Long live the Eurovision Song Contest I say, now that I live in Australia
Only joking.... Congratulations Azerbaijan...!!!!!
