Hi!

I' currently writing my bachelor thesis and I'm researching in the field of interface design. The result should be a list of requirements for an Ableton Live Controller and therefore I need your help!
Just follow the link and take part on the survey:

in English
http://www.q-set.de/q-set.php?sCode=QYESKZCFQKKB

and German
http://www.q-set.de/q-set.php?sCode=YMKWAFFUXGYK

I know that the questionnaire is far from perfect, so fair criticism is always welcome!
Unfortunately an user observation is too extensive, but I can extract useful informations from the posts here, additional discussions and opinions on this topic would be awesome!

I'm mainly using a simple laptop setup with an Akai LPD8 controller. It's cool and I can get productive very quickly, but it don't feel like I have full control and flexibility. For me most controllers still feel like a compromise, not like a solution. But I' not sure in which direction the evolution could go, or if this evolution is possible at all. New input devices? New or different protocols? ...

many thanks in advance
Finbar
