I love this board.. i really do.. i lso have a triton.. i love my karms so much more... why? because the external control features are far more capable... (i will explain if you ask..) Unfortunately, when i got my first karma.. i didnt know what aftertouch was (laugh to yourself please) and i got took :/... so i just sold my ftertouch-less karm for 400 US and bought a new one for 500 US, it was the only one around...
i got to the guys house, the A5 didnt work, easy fix, i fixed it at his hosue and it works fine... happened before with my other karma...
but for some reason when he powered it on, he couldnt explain to me how everything was ersed...
thats why im here.
is there an internal battery that holds all the patch info?
now that im home all my stuff is still there since i loaded everything two hours ago. but im wondering. if i wake up, and its all gone again... do i havw to lok for a battery? or did i just get screwwed again?
i know its naiive to just get another karma knowing it may not be perfect, but its the best ive seen so far. AT works just fine...
and im sure its repairable..
guy never even updated it to 2.0
tl'dr if all my patches are gone in the morning what should i be looking for to repair? _________________
