Sadly, all of KORG's demos at NAMM are Sliced Chedder Cheese
If cheesy is the trend these days, maybe they think they might be impressing some folks, but...I highly doubt anyone was really impressed with these shows of the new Kronos, or PA3X.
I would rather they program some fantastic tracks on the built-in sequencer, (before the show), and then push PLAY, and just smile at the audience. That would be the way to do it. I don't need to be impressed by their keyboard playing licks, or cheesy sounding organs. Not a single song was demoed to at least be able to evaluate them in a mix
Let's hope we hear something that makes us go WOW. otherwise all these specs mean nothing. |
