Hi dear Korg !
Can we expect some more development for the Korg Kronos in the future?
More Piano libraries?
Hammond organ?
Sample libraries?
Synth engines?
New O.S functionality?

Of course there will be more, with a big user base to come.
But what are you missing?
Isn't 12 Gb of content a good start for you, compared to some hundred MB on standard workskations today??? |

The only assumption I can make is to not make assumptions. There may be more, not of course there will be more. |

How about waiting that it's officially released and available for sale, first? |

People familiar with Korg products should know they never announce future product plans.
Given Korg's support of past keyboard products, I would expect 1 or 2 updates over a few years, providing some new functionality plus bug fixes.
As mentioned in other threads, I would recommend anyone buying ANY keyboard make the purchase decision on what comes in the box at the time of purchase, NOT about what might be added in the future.
If you have no expectations about future support, then any updates will be a bonus. |

I got rumours that the Kronos could have been discountinued.
I know, I know, it's an old joke (it was first pronounced on jan 13th), but... it fit the thread |

Today, people are so spoiled by Software and Softsynths. Hardware in the old days was so appreciated for exactly what initially shipped. The only thing users looked for, after owning a product, were additional patches shared by other users.
Current synths are so rich with features, it takes months / years to learn all the nuances. I think users would be amazed at what they could do with the hardware they own. _________________
