|
|
I've heard mention on the forums about a 5-15% pre-order discount on the Kronos. Is this actually doable? I was gonna wait to try it out, but if I can score a 73 for 15% off on a pre-order (I'm in the US), I'll pull the trigger. Worst case scenario is that I can demo it extensively in my home, and then sell it on Craigslist without losing much (if anything), assuming I don't dig it. |

Usually the discount is off of MSRP (not MSAP).
Just to give you an idea on pricing, Nova offered the 88 key for $3599 and Sweetwater has been matching it.

IMO, there is no point to pre-ordering other than to ensure you get one of the first ones available.
I'd say there's a good chance the first Kronos shipment will sell out quickly. _________________ Korg: KRONOS 73, M50-61, 01W/r

So we can get one of the low serial numbers. It's pretty cool feeling. |

The point is that I've sold my keyboard (XF8) to finance the Kronos, so I'm in "keyboard withdrawl" at least for synth type work! The sooner I can get the Kronos in the better.
In the meantime, I slum it with the N3! |
