Yeah... (maybe)
I can recall many questions of this sort being asked in print in Keyboard MANY years ago, when 4 op synths were just being released; people wanting to port their sounds to the next-gen, or reproduce favorite sounds.
You'd need an editor of some sort (don't even attempt 'long hand' conversions), and I don't remember offhand if there's a free or shareware one that does it -- probably -- but if you can find a 6-op configuration that mimics the 4-op in its 1st 4 operators then the final two operators can be null and you'd be able to get the 4-op's sound exactly.
Similarly some of the later FM (multi-wave) versions could mimic DX sounds by using JUST sine waves as their op modulators.
Don't have a clue as to how easy this will/might/isn't possible on the Kronos -- we may have to wait for an editor/librarian to be included, tho' sysex appears to be fully supported.
... bonus!

I wrote the dx7 to sy99 converter and it was very time consuming. Some person with a lot of time could do it. Maybe galaxy could convert 4->6 op. I need to check, |
