I speak French.
But I couldn't listen to all these clips.
Michel Deuchst talks and talks and talks and talks like a huckster (he does in words what J.Ruddess does in notes).
That gave me a headache long before the end of the 6th part... |

Sounds like the 10th Kronos synth engine will be some French dude that talks over everything you play |

Could have been cooler if it didn't drift out of sync as he continued. But yeah, it was cool.
One thing bothers me, though. There is something in common to all the demos i've seen, including this one. When it gets to the cx-3 engine, they dedicate about 60 seconds to show\demo it, as if it's not that interesting.
Well, i'm very interested in hearing more of the cx-3 engine on the kronos. I heard a lot of TALK about "acceleration - decceleration", mic positioning etc - but heard no examples of these. I want to hear how the overdrive sounds. I'm asking myself why is it that in most demos - they dedicate somewhere between 30% - 40% of the time just for the acoustic pianos and the ep's... |

The AP's & EP's sound cool & seem exciting to play. Thats what the demos say. And for me, great AP's & EP's are # 1.
Why don't you check out the OASYS for your CX-3 questions ? Aren't they the same ?
From Triton to the M3, I have always felt that the Hammonds/rotary/Leslie FX are strong. It isn't a sound category that concerns me, for the Kronos. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

That guy certainly is the king of hand gestures.

I noticed that. Maybe it's because it's the same CX-3 as in the standalone CX-3 keyboard. But I guess that doesn't completely justify it because many of the other engines are in the Oasys. _________________ Korg Kronos 61, DSS-1, EX-8000

Could it be because the key beds aren't made for the cx3? at least not optimally. |
