Now, how about reinventing the (wheel) "controllers" ?
What did you want ?
A pentagon that is spinning , or a X-form shape button?
Did you want a button that makes coffee or a slider bar that have little rubber dents to tickle your fingers?

The best "new ultra mega super" thing could be a controller that snaps the players finger for getting off-tempo Laughing

Dumbass?

f*ck YOU, pal.

Yuk foo too pal

I'll be glad when the Kronos is out, seems this Kronos forum is turning into the Vintage synth explorer forum, with so many of these

"What pointless and rather downright lame thread topics about the Kronos can we start whilst we wait because we simply would rather be posting stupid threads than making music"

How about,

"Where is the weirdest place you ever switched on a synth that was the worst thing you ever bought because you thought the Kronos was an M3 whilst talking to your mom on the phone and posting in Korg forums whilst waiting for your kronos to arrive with what are the best cables for the Outputs "Thread

Aside from the stupid thread title, I think there is a genuine question here.

Unfortunately its already been over several times in other threads.

Loosely: what is the relationship between the M3 and Kronos? Will they be similar?

Answer: The M3 is derived from the Kronos' predecessor, with which Kronos shares a lot (read most) of its technology. Historically the interface and operating theory behind Korg's workstations has not changed for 20 years. The multi-function sliders were introduced on the OASYS and then the M3, and the KRONOS shares this design feature.
Technically, operating them should be relatively similar.

And as has been said in other threads, if you want to learn about the Kronos, brush up by pouring through the OASYS manuals and tutorials. They're almost the same except for a few added goodies. Stephen Kay has a bunch of stuff up over at karma-lab.com .
