With the $200 off, what is the final price? Is this for the 61?

I was not offered this and would like to know who to believe, the sales team or the purchasers? ( I've been doing business with them for 20 yrs.) |
The only way to get the $200 discount is to tell Sweetwater you want them to price match the NovaMusik pre-order discount.

If your Sweetwater Sales Rep refuses to price match the NovaMusik offer, I would suggest buying from NovaMusik.
You might also send an email to Chuck Surack, letting him know your SW sales rep wouldn't price match.
Even with a $200 MAP discount retailers are still making a good profit on the Kronos.

NovaMusik.com is offering a "pre-order Special" on the Kronos. If you contact them, they will sell you any Kronos for $200 off the MAP price.
Therefore:
-- Kronos 61 $2799 instead of $2999 MAP
-- Kronos 73 $3299 instead of $3499 MAP
-- Kronos 88 $3599 instead of $3700 MAP

A better price(s) can be had by shopping around. There is quite a bit of margin to play with. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

Thanks Martin, I did call and was quoted the $2799. and then today I emailed them and received the same discount quote via email. (Hard copy)
I really hate like hell the back and forth BS. I'm really surprised after all the business I have directed to them. I may just go with Nova.
I also wonder about store allocation? ie. you are # 30 in their pre order list and they get in 25, sorry sir, you'll be in our next shipment .. bla bla.. _________________ Lou |

MusiciansFriend.com has updated their site to say that they have heard from their supplier that they will have their first shipment of the Kronos the week of June 6th. I am excited |

I've ordered the 73, I expressed my concerns on the availability compared to the 61 but he seems pretty confident they are arriving at the same time so fingers crossed.

My Sweetwater rep says that "everyone will be getting theirs at the same time" (with everyone meaning authorized US resellers), and that an arrival date of June 1st was a bit too optimistic.
My bet is no later than mid-June.
Woo-hoo!
(I have the K-88 on pre-order and I'm near the top of the waiting list.) |

I'm wondering what the date is for people who want to see and play one before they buy it. I guess that's a question for local music stores (e.g. GC) whether they will keep a demo unit on the floor or sell off every one they get. _________________ Korg Kronos 61, DSS-1, EX-8000

I bet the supply will fall short at first do to high demand for kronos. I pre ordered quite awile ago and i fear not to be high enugh on the list to be included in the first shipment and most retailers will fill orders before they just place them out on display. |
