Finally - note that Korg's OASYS MOD-7 Presets will be loadable into Kronos, and these, plus the hundreds of extra MOD-7 programs released for OASYS by Korg and surely new Preset bank for MOD-7 on Kronos

Just a question and forgive me if I am missing the obvious.....where are these "hundreds of extra Mod-7 programs released for OASYS by Korg"??? I want them!

Thanks!

Unfortunately, you have to be a registered OASYS owner to download them. Sad

Does anyone know if the Kronos owners will eventually be able to register on korguser.net?

Thanks. Being a former Oasys owner I was able to download them. They work great in KRONOS! There's also a great bank of ms20/poly6 patches too. All together it's about 400 fresh Korg patches for KRONOS! There's other content there too but I'm not sure if it's redundant to the preload KRONOS content. Anyways it's a very worthwhile download for KRONOS! Korg should definitely make this available to any KRONOS owner.

You'll also find other programs on the page which you are more than welcome to download and use. There are about 100 AL-1 programs in the file KN_AL-1.PCG which I put a lot of time into -

Finally there's a small sample based bank of Roland VP330 8' Choral Sound

Thanks for sharing! I'm really enjoying some of these AL-1 and VP330 sounds.

Yes. It looks like a lot of the sysex files are not compatible. The DX1 folder seems good. Really strange to hear what we thought was ground-breaking back then.

See "Error messages" under "Loading DX sounds" near the start of the MOD-7 chapter in the Parameter Guide.
