From what I gather, the Kronos can do everything the M3 can, sound engine-wise. Correct me if i'm wrong, but the M3's sample ROM was said to contain the "best-of's" from the OASYS, so just about everything would be in there, except for some the new multisamples that were added with the Xpanded patch, which i don't think contained any organ sounds. _________________ Korg Kronos-61, 01/Wfd, SONAR Pro |

0072 Pipe Organ-Mixture 2

M3 Has:

0083 Positive Organ 2
0084 Pipe Organ-Tuentiana
0085 Pipe Organ-Reed
0086 Pipe Organ-Mixture 1

I think there are some very nice church organ sounds on the Oasys. One in particular that I use a lot is F-011- i think its called Sunday Church, its programmed by Peter Schwartz(?). A couple years back when i was playing Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor this is the program i used. I love it. This is not a sampled sound, peter uses one of the PM's to do it, cant remember which one though.
There are also several other varations of pipes etc to select from. I think the big church pipe sounds on the O have a lot more reverb added to them to give them that huge dynamic in sound...like your in a huge building/church with high ceilings.

If you can find a cheap Roland or Edirol Sound Canvas (lots around) you can try this:

It's really nice |

Except it is crazy expensive, especially if you add any of the 3rd party libraries.
I still like the NDB Organ, which is still available in Kontakt 2 format:
