OASYS also reads KSF and KMP so I imagine so. _________________ Current Gear: Kronos 61, RADIAS-R, Volca Bass, ESX-1, microKorg, MS2000B, R3, Kaossilator Pro +, MiniKP, AX3000B, nanoKontrol, nanoPad MK II,

Yes, your .KSF format samples will load in Kronos.
Thanks,

In anticipation of a Kronos, I'd like to sample some of my current keyboards with the intent of being able to take some of their sounds with me to gigs. I'm looking at the Samplit software to make it simpler. It supports exporting samples in 9 formats, I'm wondering which (if any) of these would be the easiest to bring into a Kronos...
Halion (Steinberg)
EXS24 (Apple)
Kontakt (Native Instruments)
Sampletank (IK Multimedia)
Reason (Propellerheads)
VSampler (MAZ Sound Tools)
Soundfont (EMU)
Gigasampler (Tascam)
Structure (Digidesign)
I'm guessing EXS24 because, unlike the others, I at least have software (GarageBand) that can already recognize it
BTW, for the vast majority (perhaps all) the samples, I'd be quite content with sampling them at only a single velocity.
Any hint/tips on this? Is there a better way to do it altogether? I've never tried to bring samples into a Korg before... |

Kronos supports SoundFonts directly, so that would be the format of choice from that list.

What about importing stuff from the M3? I know that Kronos will not import M3 PCG files, but what about KSC samples or custom drum kits created on M3? Any way to get those in there?
Thanks for any info!

.KSC files should load fine, but the M3 drum kits are part of the .PCG file, and can't be loaded in a Kronos.
