Here is another video from Musikmesse:

Although I think Steve McNally did pretty much the same show at NAMM there may be some new sounds in this one. |

Even better than NAMM.
More sounds - tho the organs still get the short end of he demo.
I especially liked the extended jam at the end. It really shows just how seamless the sound changes can be and makes good use of the setlist showing ease of transitions.
Still has that joyful / demented "Drumtrack!" about halfway through... but that's redeemed by the great drum solo turn when showing the close-mic vs. room-ambient mix.
------------
Have to figure out that big "Cirque Du Soliel" taiko slam at the end - very nice.

Near the beginning of that end jam he plays a little lead line that sounds like a square wave, but then seems to morph into something more sizzly like a saw wave. That's a cool effect. I wonder if that's the AL-1 morphing waveform. (although the O manual seems to imply that this control is a crossfade mix and not a true morph) _________________ Korg Kronos 61, DSS-1, EX-8000

Yep, great demo! The audio quality was much better than NAMM.
Kronos sounds as good or better than the Oasys to my ear..
Steve did a great job, would love to know what the last slam he played was? _________________ Lou |

I'm also a big fan of that huge ending... Steve spent a lot of time perfecting that sound!

Hey Rich, are the sounds in the demos stock sounds? I'm looking forward to using a lot of them... _________________ Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), SQ-64, DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, 3x nanoPad 2, 3x DS1H, 7x PS1, FC7 (yes Korg, NOT Yamaha). |
