I don't have my M3 anymore, but in the past, opening up the M3 plug in Logic, I recall it opening in the Bridge.
I was just reading the latest specs for the Kronos, does this mean it will now open in 64 bit mode without the Bridge or is the driver the same:
"USB MIDI Driver
This is the latest USB MIDI driver, which is compatible with Windows 7, Vista & XP, in both 32 and 64 bit configurations.
This Mac driver is compatible with Intel/Mac. We always recommend that you use the latest driver." _________________ Lou |

the USB MIDI Driver is universal to Korg's products. e.g. if you install the one currently available for KRONOS or any other product, it will recognise your M3.
It is the plugin which needs to be able to run in 32 or 64 bit and will need 'bridging' if a version in the same bit type isn't available. Not the driver.
Drivers, on the other hand. Well, if you have a 64 bit host and a 32 bit driver, usually you can't use the MIDI port at all. _________________ Current Gear: Kronos 61, RADIAS-R, Volca Bass, ESX-1, microKorg, MS2000B, R3, Kaossilator Pro +, MiniKP, AX3000B, nanoKontrol, nanoPad MK II,

I would expect as in the past, the plug will open in 64 bit and in the bridge.
Was hoping to dismiss the bridge and not have to run Logic in 32 bit mode to do so.. thanks. _________________ Lou |
