how about a "0" or"none"prg. for kronos

its not so much the sounds, rather the setups required for different songs.

There are custom song templates you can save. The template will save all settings, including programs for each part, zones, effects, levels... etc

So, when you have to start a new song, just select the appropriate template and you are ready to go...

The point I was aiming at is, can a combi or whatever be used to set-up my complete rig (Kronos plus a second synth and possibly a PC tablet running Eigenharp software) for each song from the Set List featrure so that I don't need to then also choose a setup on the 2nd synth each time 'cos the Kronos will have already sent it the correct matching program change(s).

Yes, it can. Combis can send out up to 16 different Program Change (and Bank Select) messages to set up external instruments.
