Its all marketing....Don't know why people feel so upset or angered by it,I've got a lot of synth Brochures from over the years which pretty much say the same crap over and over,Korg Included.

Korg are hardly going to put...

"We created several new breakthrough synthesis methods from left over Oasys Technologies"

"The only thing new about Kronos is we just found a shiny New case to put it in"...

"We knew Oasys was special but not enough people bought it so we make it cheaper for more suckers to buy into this overpriced Technology"

"We Changed the Game,and the Price oh and the Name"

At least Korg are not leading you up the garden path with "Open Architecture" that's future proof...

Oasys was closed quicker than Bin Ladens coffin Lid

Cry me a river. Hey, take solace in your Oasys with that big sexy case and LED indicators. Oh yeah pads too...the all important pads. Meanwhile the rest of us are getting on with a synth we bought this year; not 5 years ago and not something bought second hand.
