With M3 and Radias you get 2 synth engines, while Kronos gives you 9... HD-1 (Kronos) is clearly better than EDS (M3) while MMT (Radias) is pretty different to AL-1 (Kronos) but AL-1 has more power, but it's not the same. Also I think it's better to have M3+EXB-Radias instead of M3+Radias because there's no real integration between them, except of sharing the same keybed.

As someone who had the M3 + EXB-RADIAS + RADIAS, I would echo MarPabl on the fact the EXB-RADIAS offers real integration with the M3. The RADIAS is one mean machine though and worth having on it's own. It was built off of the AL-1 so shares most of the AL-1 functionality but Korg added a few more tricks up it's sleeve. I wouldn't own an M3 without the EXB-RADIAS. But I'll definitely always own the RADIAS (which is mounted by itself on a 73 key keybed).

SPAM/OT: If you're looking for an EXB-RADIAS, let me know. I'm selling that and the EXB-M256 out of the M3 I sold last month.

I really like the Radias. It is a fantastic Synth and IMHO the programs it comes with surpass the ones of the Kronos
