No, not from Korg (it would seem we don't exist to them!! )
From a UK company called "Bonners Music"
I'd registered interest with a great many dealers, but Bonners seamed to be the projected cheapest and so far. by FAR the most communicative.
"Dear Mr.Armstrong ,
Thank you for registering your interest with Bonners Music regarding the eagerly awaited Korg Kronos keyboard.
I would like to apologise for the amount of time it has taken for us to be able to give out further information about this amazing new instrument, but it would appear that the Japanese earthquake & tsunami has delayed production slightly, and we now expect to get our first shipment of Kronos sometime towards the end of July.
We are however now now able to post you a full information pack which will hopefully answer all your questions regarding Kronos, including an 8 page full colour comemorative Kronos brochure, projected prices, availability, finance options and part exchange info.
Please would you kindly email me back your postal address so that I can forward the information pack to you.
Kronos Launch Event
We will be hosting a Kronos Launch Event in our Eastbourne music superstore sometime in June for which I will send you an official invitation in due course.
If you have any further queries regarding Kronos, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards
--

Thank GOD I don't need a new keyboard right now!! Natural disasters are out of Korg's hands, but communication isn't. _________________ Yamaha SY77 & KX88, SSL Nucleus, Korg Kronos 61, Wavestation A/D, Access Virus B, Roland XP30, DeepMind12D, System 1m, V-Synth XT, Focusrite Red16Line, Unitor 8, Akai S3000 XL, Alesis Quadraverb+, Focal Shape Twins, Full fat iMac, Logic Pro X, ProTools 2021, loadsa plugins.

Those are the indicative prices Bonners gave me today (for the 61 and 88, I didn't ask about the 73). |

Well that's an encouraging sign for European pricing. Bonners aren't typically the cheapest around, so I would be hoping to see Digital Village et al setting the street price "somewhere" below that. |

I was quoted exactly the same prices (for the K61 and K73 at least - didn't ask about the K88) by A&C Hamilton. |

Yep - the RRP was five or six hundred more.
I put down a £200 refundable deposit with A&C Hamilton, which is a much better deal than the 50% of RRP that my local Korg dealer wanted. |
