Well, it's only half of what the OASYS is at the moment, so still got a good bit to go...
And let's face it, very little in the Kronos section that has already been posted is going to be of much use once its released when people are using the board for real.
Threads like 'what will you sell to get the Kronos' isn't going to help anyone innovate with MOD-7 for example.
Maybe Sharp should archive it all and call it 'Kronos Pre-Release' and start the Kronos section from scratch once it's 'out there'? _________________ Plugged in: Fantom 8, Jupiter-X, Jupiter 80, System-8, JD-XA, V-Synth GTv2, FA-06, SE-02, JU-06A, TR-09, VT-4, Go:Livecast, Rubix44, Shure SM7b, Push2, Ableton 11 Suite, Sibelius, KRK Rokit 5, |

Interesting thought. Probably should be sorted and archived - there are a few keepers that might be useful.
I think it's an accurate indicator of what happens on a more or less level playing field -- since we all know about the same stuff about the Kronos (OASYS owners excepted) people's...uhm... personality quirks seem more likely to come out to dance naked in the moonlight.
Reading through some of these will give newbies some insight into how large a grain of salt they'll need in heeding someone's advice (technical or artistic) and perhaps just how sensitive they should be to routine but not heartfelt abuse.
Oh, yeah, and I include myself in this - I've made more than one post here. I'm on a couple of "salt heavily" lists, I'm sure.

so what's the point?
Kronos forum had surpassed the BIBLE by number of readers, three days before the kronos was even announced.
Heck, even the Jupiter80 thread has more followers than Scientology...

Nah. I like the idea of the board running right through the whole spectrum of guessing, then speculating based on so little, to ZOMG! and WTH?! extravaganzas which erupted when info began coming out, to ZOMG!! responses to YouTube demos to "Hey what about the Jupiter/Motif/Lionstracs/etc" posts.
To the time when the first member here gets theirs. And then we all get ours. And we gush and enthuse and rant and rave and wet ourselves for weeks.
And then come the nut and bolt questions of "How do you transfer the effects rack you want to the sequencer?" and "Do you guys use AL-1 or MOD-7 to get a sound like this?" and "How can I get this piano sound?" and "Is the ram upgrade coming?"
An eternal golden braid. _________________ PRAY FOR THIS PLANET!! |

lol....KF has had a lot of different looks in the past. Remember the Yabb forum? Everything looked entirely different then.

That's all we can upload. The Archives are so big that people were pretty much able to find the answer to most questions and because of that they searched it heavily. We got in serious trouble over the CPU load we where generating, so Daz cut away over 250,000+ threads.

Don't know, there's been a link on the OASYS section as a Sticky for a long time.
