|

Hey guys,
I wanted to share this video link about Korg Kronos launch on my music blog:
http://musicartlifesg.blogspot.com/2011/05/korg-kronos-launch-city-music-showroom.html
Pretty impressed by the realistic bass sound!
I like the ribbon controller.
In Singapore, we were lucky enough to get 5 units only.
Apparently I heard the shop staff that they literally were
"begging" Korg to ship the product to Singapore.
The 88 key version should be arriving in July. _________________ Music scene happening in Singapore: www.musicartlifesg.blogspot.com |

Agreed. I actually thought that the sound was coming from somewhere else, like another window. Can this video be downloaded? The streaming doesn't work. |

Link worked for me.. you gotta let the American Family Insurance ad play all the way through. Plus the beginning is him setting up everything playing along with cuts from a recorded song list or something.. fast forward.. |

It works on my system. You have to sit through a short commercial.
I have to say that Rhodes is THE quintessential Rhodes tone, IMO. That huge, explosive bark in the bass and the tone when played softly. It is there 100% from what I'm hearing in that video even though the audio could be higher quality. I could play that sound all night.
Thanks for posting.

Thanks guys! Yes...so far I think he has shown us what the Kronos can really do. And it arrived two days before the actual product launch. The price of the Kronos is really great for what it does.
Yes...I know that ppl will say its sounds cannot be compared to midi controller playing superb samples. But then again, u face the danger when yr laptop crashes in live performances. Go and hear the Kronos sounds in real life. U really cannot compare it to hearing it online. So far it literally blew me off...man I love the continuous ringing sound of the piano even after u release the keys. Maybe some facts are wrong...but who cares as long as u can make music out of it? _________________ Music scene happening in Singapore: www.musicartlifesg.blogspot.com |
