I assume it is equal to the earlier available US manual(s) ? _________________

The Korg UK links appear to be broken.
Their filenames are the same as the Korg USA website (including versions). |

I am sorry I have to renew my protest.
While I read daily news of happy Americans recieving their Kronos delivery, my big European reseller STILL can neither accept an order nor tell me a European price for the Kronos.
I regard this Korg performance in Europe as extremely amateurish, pathetic and scandalous! This is no way to deal with serious customers!!!
As my only choice is to react with my wallet, I have now made up a personal decision. Originally the Kronos had inspired me to look for more Korg gear in the future. This is cancelled. I will buy the Kronos and not buy anything else from Korg for quite a time to come. I'm really annoyed, and derfinitely not more just for a moment. |

@Jimknopf
I place a comment with the same topic every time on facebook at Korg.de when they place news. Within the last week they don't reply anymore to people commenting the korg.de news regarding questions about prices and delivery times. I sent several Emails to Korg Germany directly. Last answer was, that the Kronos will be delivered within the next 6 weeks for preordered customers. They did not talk about the price.
I can only say that this is really amateurish. I think, the pricing has something to do with the high exchange rate to the Yen. Korg in germany buys them very cheap at the moment, I think they want to wait as long as possible with the hope, that the exchange rate will go down again. Than they can take a higher price without facing the problem, that Europe people place orders in the USA. I just calculated yesterday, if I would have preordered at Sweetwater, the Kronos would cost me round about 2600 Euros (Taxes, Umsatzsteuer and freight included / Exc).
By the way. You can preorder at Thomann, just send them a mail and they put a dummy on your account. Without price and delivery time, but you reserve one of the first coming in this way. |

Thank's very much for the feedback, Laste7.
Annoyed customers, of whom I met and talked a lot meanwhile, include heavily unnerved resellers who have to waste lots of paid(!!!) time for Korg's European mismanagement, having to talk with irritated customers for many hours each week, as I was told!
My impression is that they make a big fault by acting like this, and in the end their cost by sympathy loss will be MUCH higher (economically!) than any possible small shorttime gain. |

(Jo, sehe ich auch so.)
In the German Korg forum I don't even see a separate Kronos group folder.
Where is the feedback you talked about? General synth section?
I will gladly add to it... |

You mean, 6 MORE weeks since last Monday, for the 61??
All former announcements were for end of june for the 61, end of july for the 73. |

@Jim Knopf, they said within 6 weeks...but what I have learned now from Korg Germany, that means at least. Beginning of April they told me, the price will soon be released....whatever soon means...but in my opinion not two months...
@Neko: Normaly the USD price and Euro will be the same. That means if it cost 2999 $, it will be 2999 Euro in Europe.
I think the price from lemachanddesons ist just fantasy. They should also have no official price from Korg yet. |

I don't think it's a Euro problem at all.
Despite some economical weak countries in the EU, and despite constant efforts of attacking the Euro, just to make some immoral investment bankers even richer at the cost of everyday pax payers, the Euro is still more solid and stable than most currencies in the world.
Et quand j'arrive dans Le Var a lundi de Pentecote, je vais aimer avoir l'Euro pour payer!
C'est comme visiter mes voisins maintenant, et pas comment voyager a l'etranger. |
