This has been posted on Facebook by City Music in Singapore at last some acknowledgement for the reasons for delay (like we did know or mind for that matter!)
But at least there is units rolling off the production line !!!

You've waited a long time for this! The Korg Kronos is available right now, but very very limited sets till our next shipment in July. This whole world shortage of Korg Kronos is due to the recent disaster in Japan which led to lack of components from suppliers. Book yours now to avoid waiting _________________ 13in Retina MacBook Pro, Quadcore i5 27in 8GB iMac, Logic Studio 9.1, Ableton Live9, Push, Volca Beats, Korg KRONOS 61, Korg Arp odyssey, Roland D50, Yamaha SY85, Moog Sub37, Roland TR8, Roland SP808, Korg NanoPad2, Eventide H9, Presonus 1602, Alesis M1 MkII, Yamaha APX5, Fender Splattercaster, DrumKat DK10, 1000 miles of cable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The prices quoted by Bonners were pretty close to that. Japanese prices have "consumption tax" at 5%, so convert that figure of £2150 to have 20% tax (UK VAT) instead of 5% and the figure comes to roughly £2450... Bonners "guestimated" price was £2599, so £150 in shipping costs sounds about right to me. |

My salsaman said the 61s are going to get to my local Guitar Center first, then the others. (Got a KILLER price, by the way). I'm just glad New Zealand is still here on Earth! I would hate for the world to end as predicted before we got our Kronos - es......Kronos's (no, that's possessive).....Kronii? Yeah, that's it. Kronii - plural of Kronos.
Yes, I know I said "salsaman" - it's a joke. I know it's really "sailorman".
