LOL.. can you believe it? Just when I was about to receive my Kronos.
Funny thing is, if FamilyRadio is predicting the end of the world tomorrow, then why do they broadcast a 5 day forecast?

Way it was reported in the UK this morning - that wacky US church is saying that tomorrow only the saints will go to heaven, the rest of us will be left here to look after their pets (hence one company setting up armageddon pet insurance - guarantee to look after fido when the world ends).

It's serious.
They predicted the exact day of the last 35 Ends of the World.
They just didn't specify WHICH world.
On march 13th, 1972 - as correctly predicted - Planet 356 of Sun 33 of Galaxy 8422 crashed and burned.
Victims: zero. It was inhabited only by big chunks of iron ore.
On january, 1th 1983 - again, as correctly predicted - Star 12, Second Building, 4th Floor of Galaxy 43/b turned to a big yellow cloud.
Victims: two whole varieties of clams. Clams had ruled that Galaxy for 25 BILLION years. And yet the Lord punished their arrogance.
Clam chowder drought ripped through the Universe for HOURS, even for... maybe half a day, in what came to be remembered among scientists and Theologians alike as "the Boston Big Hunger".
So, REPENT!
and get back your Kronos downpayment. |

Yeah, I think tomorrow is just when something like 3% of the population gets raptured up to heaven or whatever. Then Oct 21 is the end of the world.
But when none of this happens, the guy who predicted it will of course say there was an error in his calculations and will then offer a revised prediction. <yawn>
My fear is that eventually someone will so obsessively want their prediction to come true that they'll start shooting off nuclear bombs to make it true. _________________ Korg Kronos 61, DSS-1, EX-8000

He had previously predicted that the Rapture would occur in September 1994 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_Camping#cite_ref-4
...And will again in 50 yesrs (he's 89 mind, so will be pushing the years.
He's not on his own. many religionius cults do and say things like this all the time. "1984/millenium etc/, Jehovah's Witnesses (Charles Taze Russell Founder) "the changing views and dates of the Jehovah's Witnesses are largely attributable to changed understandings of biblical chronology than to failed predictions" _________________ KORG KRONOS 88-Korg D3200-Casio Privia PX-830BP-KAWAI RX-2 Grand Piano

The world ends tomorrow because Sina is buying the whole shipment of Kronii from Japan. Hell, he's going to buy the whole factory that's producing them, leaving absolutely nothing for us, mere mortals. |
