I know it's never going to happen, but a 76/73 synth weighted Kronos so I don't have to break my back carrying the damn thing. 61 keys just don't cut it. Just wishful thinking.

Not sure if anyone has already mentioned this, but it would be really cool if the smooth sound transition was to apply further than one sound change. Applying continuity when transitioning through the setlist with pads as a backdrop, you can get caught out if you don't keep your wits about you Sad
I know it may not be practical as it requires lots more resources, but this IS a wishlist.

You can do this by using Karma for SST. I do it all the time.

You must mean something other than what you wrote. My guess would be that you mean that you turn Combi Timbres on and off using KARMA. You can also do this using Timbre mutes, with mute mode set to Live.

Yeah, you're right, Dan. Using any 16 programs in a combi I can switch between layers, splits or any of the 16 programs without cutoff of sound in that combi. What I find particularly useful is using scene buttons for simultaneously switching programs or any combination of programs on/off with one button push.

Worth repeating here:

I think there's a lot of miles left on the current Kronos. What I'd like to see:

-More synth Engines (Mono/Poly, How about an ARP Odyssey eh?)
-A fully operational D6 clavinet in EP-1 with on the fly rocker switches, mute, and amp models.
-Other Organ models (Farfisfa, Vox)
-More EP models (Hohner T/N)
-Improved vocoder to 16 band maybe even with some auto tuning ala novation.
-Ability to read 01/w (since it has all the waveshapes) and wavestation PCGs
-More banks (Though I think this was a RAM trade off)
-(more, improved) Overdrive MODELING. I do NOT want gimmicky tubes in my kronos!
-Open Access to SGX and EP-1 engines for my own samples
-ability to use RPPR in Combis.

-No one offers this, but would be so cool: A programmable harmonizer (By "harmony" I mean MIDI). Be great for mono leads, horn parts etc...

-GUI facelift (superficial, though she looks pretty dated)

Also, some organization features like:
-better wavesequence management with the ability to specify which bank to use on program import
-Better Drum pattern Organization. Allow Categories, etc. Currently this is a nightmare!
-ability to group programs (and colorize) within combis for volume changes, etc..
-ability to move/swap programs to different slots within a combi

Software:
-A REAL EDITOR
-wavesequence builder

-And of course, Better sequencer

Please ! : When we have named a very new song created in the sequencer it is very ridiculous to have to name it a second time when we want to save it on disk.
Hope hope hope Wink

There's a great free app, called Zyklus Improvisor, would be great seeing its features in Kronos! It "just" harmonizes midi loops live, according to keyboard cords. BTW, we can connect this app to Kronos!

When saving to disk you're saving all currently loaded songs in one container file. There is mo way for Kronos OS to know which song name you want to use as filename.

Very very interesting in this... think about combining this with Karma...

also a lookalike interface should be added in combination with a more basic pattern sequencer...

With the new bigger ipad pro, this would be a lovely tool to run on an ipad connected to the Kronos.. they dont even have to be onboard...

I have only one wish added to,i want to use the drums (the rhythm) apart from combi and program (independently).
idea:option,in global mode to choose drums kits and rhythm to playing for all progarms and all combi without stopping when changing from program to combi, set list and vice versa.
to simplify For end,as an independent rhythm machine
IT'S FUNNY KORG KRONOS THE BEST WORKSTATION BUT STILL CAN NOT DO IT THAT AS ROLAND FANTOM G6.
I think that this KORG can be resolved with update (relese) software with this option.
I BELIEVE IN KORG.....
