Whenever the KRONOS 88 arrives (I'm on that list)! The real question is:

WHAT CAR WILL THE BOX FIT IN WHEN YOU DRIVE IT HOME??

Or, when you do a gig?? There was a great mention about this dilemma in a keyboard magazine article a month or two ago and it made me wonder about this the same way I used to wonder and research which airplane models were good for tall people like myself.

Which cars are best for 88 key keyboards with cases that fit them?? I'm a guitarist, so I don't really run into these problems - I never used a stack or half stack cabinet in my life.

If I had to I'd use my Toyota Surf. It's named because you can fit a surf board longways into it, so the K88 should be fine.

(C5, C6, etc), a K88 would fit in the boot space no problem.

You can get a couple of golf bags in the boot and the dimensions are 40" x 63" at the widest point - although you lose about 8" for wheel wells.

It's not so big problem now with Kronos (than it was with OASYS): if you can't transport it you still can rent one very probably at the location of the gig. Many people and shops will have a Kronos soon.

(I transport the O88 with a Citroen Xsara Picasso which has removable backseats - perfect for moving gear.)

My DS has been custom made to transport my 88 keyboards. And with this car I can even transport my other DS:

Gets all of my gigging kit in anyway.

The Ferrari would be a bit difficult - sticking out of the roof: but probably the fastest way to get it home!! Laughing
