Flash mentioned, in another thread, that the Kronos was a keyboard for the 'young' - suggesting the 'old' may have problems reading the screen.

I'm sure he was only saying that in a light hearted way and I took no offence, but it made me wonder what was the age profile of members and potential Kronos owners.

The poll gives age bands so no one has to admit to thier age, unless they wish to.

Who has received thier Kronos and is having a problem reading the screen?

This may be useful feedback for Korg.

I'll be 29 by the time I get my Kronos. I should be able to read the screen for a few years yet.

Don't have it yet and I know I'll need glasses to program it, think I'll be ok in setlist mode on stage without them though!
Oh...51 btw....

Interesting topic for a poll I think. 46 by the way.

Thankfully I have the O so the bigger screen helps my aged eyes... Shocked

But to put it into context with the Kronos - have you seen the size of the screen on the Korg D3200? Now that's small!

I use reading glasses so if I can operate the D3200 I think I'll be able to cope with Kronos, should I ever get one.

37 and have no issues reading displays etc, but do sometimes need glasses when my Hay-Fever kicks in.

20/20 [hunter, gunner, baseball slugger... you get the picture], , but slightly farsighted due to my age.

Can't really live with tiny screens. Less screen more physical conrtrollers, pls.

Big 57 here, and yes the screen resolution is definitely a concern to me.. Nearsighted wearing contacts. I will post my opinion when mine arrives this week. The screen angle also concerns me as I dont want to continually lean over the keyboard to select icons.

40 here. I clicked the "40-50" option, but I should've taken advantage of the overlap in categories to click "30-40!"

Im 40, Well JUST turned Sad and I have 20/14 vision. The Combination of the Screen being in its fixed Location and How the Graphics are that Of the Oasys just Smaller due to the smaller screen Deff. make it Harder to read. Maybe its That im just soo used to My Oasys display that this seems to be an Issue... Either way, I think in a future OS update Korg should Deff. Make a "Magnifying Glass" mode or something.. Its NOT easy to read, Specially in Bright light!! IMO Smile
