Haven't seen one in person, are the cases brushed aluminum ?
Do they look pretty sturdy and are the side pieces plastic? _________________ Don't get caught in the spot light & don't forget to rock the boat - just don't tip it over |

I would like to know this too. Would be cool if the Kronos was made out of an aluminum block like the Mac Books are. |

I believe they are plastic
One of the reasons the weight is so low? _________________ 13in Retina MacBook Pro, Quadcore i5 27in 8GB iMac, Logic Studio 9.1, Ableton Live9, Push, Volca Beats, Korg KRONOS 61, Korg Arp odyssey, Roland D50, Yamaha SY85, Moog Sub37, Roland TR8, Roland SP808, Korg NanoPad2, Eventide H9, Presonus 1602, Alesis M1 MkII, Yamaha APX5, Fender Splattercaster, DrumKat DK10, 1000 miles of cable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, maybe we can clean the finger prints off of them. Man remember the tritons, even the M3 isn't easy to clean _________________ Don't get caught in the spot light & don't forget to rock the boat - just don't tip it over |

No need to clean them,
The Kronos all have a micro thin film of Radiation around the Case which will prevent any soilings!!! _________________ --Korg Nautilus~~Korg Modwave--Korg SV-1-Korg Wavestate-- |

Honestly ... that's not funny in any little way ... to make a joke about any of the side effects of what happened in Japan is sick . 10's of Thousands of people died ... remember that before posting any untoward comments.

I do hope you also vented your offended manner to those who started the actual thread about Radiation contamination worries about Kronos elsewhere.... _________________ --Korg Nautilus~~Korg Modwave--Korg SV-1-Korg Wavestate--

The case is aluminum and very nice. The ends are black, shiny plastic. When I turned mine off last night, the screen was covered with very visible fingerprints! However, the rest of the machine will probably stay pretty clean. I like it! _________________ Korg Kronos 61 (2); Kurzweil PC4; Casio Privia PX-350m; Macbook Pro |

thanks for reediting it so you looked less heartless ... No i didn't make any comments on the previous thread, I almost did ... but as normal i kept my off thread views to myself but lately with what i've seen on here I may as well join in as it seems to be a free for all ...
Still you seem to be sticking by your guns on your comment ... well done !
