This may have been posted before, but I just got done watching some great videos on the MS-20 and it's helped me get a good understanding of how it works. There are 3 videos on the control panel and 2 on the patch panel. Enjoy!

I watched those last week and they are very insightful, mostly about the patch panel. At first I thought it was like patching in a modular synth (like Virtual Patch in the Radias), but the patch are more like special wiring to extend the possibilites of the synth. _________________ Korg Kronos 61

You're right that they're different, but it's more the other way around: the RADIAS's Virtual Patch feature is like AMS on the KRONOS and OASYS, or like what some on synths is called a "mod matrix." For instance, it lets you route an envelope to LFO frequency, or a slider to filter cutoff. The MS-20's patch panel is like a modular synth; you can change the routing of the audio signals, use audio signals as modulators, etc. _________________ Dan Phillips

Here it is on YouTube if you're following on an iDevice...

I went through these videos about a month ago, great introduction. If you have an iPad, getting the iMS-20 is a good way to play with what you learn from these videos while waiting on your Kronos 88...like me...grin...
