|
|
Can anyone please test to confirm....
I am sure that on the PA2 you could change STS sounds whilst in MP3 record mode, however I have just tried to do the same on the PA3x, and no changing of the STS sound is allowed....
Is this a deliberate omission, or indeed a bug?? Can other users please test to make sure it is not just my keyboard doing this.
Thanks |

Hi Dennis
Just tested it , yes you can change STS settings in MP3 record. It would be be barmy if you couldn't.
Regards

Yes, that was what I thought Col, (and in fact I could do on the PA2x), but nope, still no ability to do so on my PA3x...
Just to confirm, you had it set to the highest record level (although I did test on all record quality levels)?
And you could freely change the STS sound, WHILST recording? And you used the SHIFT+RECORD method to record on-board? Sorry if it seems like silly questions, but I do need to get it clarified before posting as a bug....

you have to leave the record-screen, so that you see the R in the top corner. _________________ Best regards from germany

ahh, thanks LiM...I don't remember having to do that on the PA2, but I probably did (I am getting older!!) It's not a function I use all that often.
Although having to leave the screen and re-enter it to turn it on and off DOES add time to your recording , and DOES take a bit away from the spontaneity, but it works so that's all that matters.
