Mods,

Why was the thread regarding the data wheel and associated pictures, deleted? Because 1 person said to use glue to fix it? Where as Rich said Korg is willing to replace faulty wheels, which is helpful to early adopters?

I sincerely appreciate this venue and spend time here because I want to learn and get factual information.

Why was that thread deleted?

There is no censorship. The thread is still here, with all the pictures:

Photos aren't hosted in the forums; it's a web link. So, forum admins couldn't either remove them or put them back up...just fyi.

Incorrect!

Right click on one of the photos and you will see they are being hosted here -- http://members.aye.net

This appears to be Sparkie's ISP, which is a small ISP that covers Southern Indiana, Louisville, KY, and Central Kentucky. http://www.lightspeed.win.net/news.php

You LIE ! There is Censorship here and here's the proof .

http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=62367

The title was called "Kronos : Already Outdated " and it was locked so it can fade away and be forgotten like the titanic . I wasn't going to say any thing but then I saw this tread and had to . Why was this tread Locked ? I'll tell you why because the powers that be just did'nt like what the OP was saying about Kronos but if he gave it all praises trust me it would still be there to comment on. This is called censorship my friend no matter how you try to spin it .
Cheers

That's not called censorship, it's called moderating a forum. Gotta manage those trolls.

There is no censorship here at KF! Moderation yes, but censorship absolutely not.

To be fair, there is censorship, but it's the kind of censorship that's important. Censorship of pornography, bad language, flaming and trolling - I have no problem with any of that. It would be a problem if opinions were being censored though.

I also wouldn't want to see any member of the community trying to force Sharp to moderate posts that are within the rules by, for example, threatening to leave.

Yes there is no sensoring, but there is moderating... and it should be....

BTW, in Sharp's reply on that thread regarding multitouch display on KRONOS..... "Adding a capacitive touch screen will give you no additional function over a resistive touch screen. The operating system is designed for quick instant use. Point and you have what you need. Adding Multi Touch function and expecting people to use more than one finger performing, pinching screens and so on..... err... not very practical. "

Actually Multitouch on KRONOS would make a lot of sense.....
1. Pressing multiple pads on screen.
2. zoom in/out of the wave editing.
3. select start and end point with two fingers...
4. multitouch control surface... arm/solo/mute multiple tracks.
etc..

OK, that's it! I've been called a liar on this forum and this is a personal insult and a malicious allegation. I would sue you for this in privat life, if it wasn't on a quite anonymous forum. Therefore I will leave this forum forever and this was my last post... This forum is not "funky" anymore, it's more and more just "junky"...

Shakil, that sounds like the subject for a new thread as it is slightly off the topic being discussed here.

Do you know what the definition of Censorship is ?
Well here you go ....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Censorship

Censorship is the suppression of speech or other public communication which may be considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or inconvenient to the general body of people as determined by a government, media outlet, or other controlling body.

Ok, now that you know the definition of censorship apply that knowledge
and a little common scene to this tread ...

http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=62367

Like I said before I don't care how you guys try to spin it , this is pure censorship just read it for yourself . The link above is the definition of what censorship is . The OP was not rude or nasty or anything like that , actually he was asking for help but instead get called names like troll and have his tread locked just for speaking his mind hmmmm where else have I seen this type of behavior . Agin I wasn't going to say anything until folks started trying to spin this like we're stupid or something .
