This is the first Kronos review I've seen so far, by a guy who REALLY knows to play the keys!!!

Seems like an honest review. Thanx for taking the time for these. _________________

Interesting review... insightful and amusing at times.
Be warned, he's way too chatty in the first vid--takes almost 6 minutes before he actually starts playing. _________________ M3, Triton Classic, Radias, Motif XS, Alesis Ion |

Too bad there is so much limiting going on in the audio.

*some* nice playing, but I got bored very quickly.
Watched the first video (spinning on through the talky-talky)
Got to the EP video, found it was pretty much the same.....
And switched off.
Too much freeform Jazz going on there.
Not my thing really.
(Could be sour grapes, as he's got to play a Kronos, and I haven't )

You can see that it broke his heart to have to admit that the Kronos is actually the better workstation...
You can't get a more honest, real endorsement than that. |

Lets face it, if he said the Motif was better, it was based purely in pre-conceived bias. |

I agree the kronos is better, and you have to spend more than an hour to see what this board is really capable of. |

You have to understand he had only scratched the surface. From my understanding I don't think he knew much about the on/off on the drum track and Karma and had some difficulty finding the category mode. In the 4th video to the end he did say that Kronos was better than the Yamaha. |

The squeaky chair he is sitting on is annoying. |

I'm subscribed to Jamal's channel on youtube. He knows Motifs inside out so if he's saying that Kronos has an 'edge', both in terms of technology and sounds, than it must be really good.
This is a VERY tempting synthesiser It will be hard to resist.. _________________ https://www.youtube.com/user/sewa01/videos |
