I want to add something. I love how Yamaha Motif sequences are in Cubase format. You can move projects back and forth between the workstation and the DAW. I wish Korg and Roland could do the same. I know it probably will never happen...but imagine being able to open up a Kronos project directly into Pro Tools or a DAW like Logic....
