Hello everyone,
Recently began to put together a sample pack for the Monotron. I started by creating a bass sound I like and recording individual notes for a multi sample of the preset. Then I thought I could experiment with the LFO Rate knob and record some loops of the results. My problem is having the bpm set at 120bpm making loops that are loop proper is causing a problem, as they are often too longer when cut at the right point. I'm not sure what to do about this. I don't how to work out the correct tempo and don't know if Ableton would export the loop at that bpm or the audio would still be flexible. So essential is their an answer to my problem(s) or should I start again in Cubase?
Any advice is much appreciated as I'm a newbie to sample making/sound design and want to make sure I'm doing things right.
Thanks a lot.
