Still looking for a hard case and can't wait for Korg to sell one in the US.
The K88 dimensions are 57.28” x 16.18” x 5.71
Anybody try the Gator GKPE-88-TSA? I'm curious if it'll be snug enough.
Internal Length 59"
Internal Width 19"
Internal Height 6.63" _________________ Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), SQ-64, DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, 3x nanoPad 2, 3x DS1H, 7x PS1, FC7 (yes Korg, NOT Yamaha). |

I have that exact case on order for my 88. GC lists it as available on the 7th so I don't think anyone has one yet. I expect it here sometime NEXT week.

I just got the 61 version, and it seems easy to get it snug with the velcro inserts. The only problem would be if there's not quite enough room to fit the inserts in. It works with the 61. _________________ Korg Kronos 61

Same exact case here, yet my K88 arrives tomorrow.
So, McHale, you were right. Way back when, you said you'd get yours first. I messed up and scheduled it to be sent to my work so that I could accept it during the day. Well, that pushed it to after the 4th of July weekend. So guess what? I can spend time with my family instead of buried deep into the Kronos for the entire weekend ... LOL _________________

I spent MANY MANY hours with it since I got it. I blew off 2 4th of July parties, cutting the grass, and laundry. TOTALLY worth it. I *AM* getting out of the house today for a party though because my back and feet are killing me from standing over it for so long!
Please report back on how the case/keyboard combination works. It looks like the best thing out there so far and I need something fairly quick.
Thanks! _________________ Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), SQ-64, DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, 3x nanoPad 2, 3x DS1H, 7x PS1, FC7 (yes Korg, NOT Yamaha). |

Picked up the Gtour88 from Gator
http://www.guitarcenter.com/Gator-G-TOUR-88-Rolling-ATA-88-Note-Keyboard-Road-Case-545872-i1152402.gc?&source=4WFRWXX&CAWELAID=44012726#
Still waiting on my Kronos. The case arrived today. The build seems good, the latches seem sturdy. Not too fond of the handles they seem like they may hurt the hands. Time will tell though.
I owned the gator ata approved case that they made 8 years ago and it held up very nicely. 2 out of the 4 latches broke off and it lost a wheel, but other than that the case kept my Triton secure for 8 years through countless bumpy rides in a van full of gear on top of it. it looks like the GKPE-88 took care of those design flaws. I'm sure it's a great case. _________________ Corey Mast

Just ordered my Gator GKPE-88-TSA. Got it for $250 plus tax. Couldn't beat it... _________________ Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), SQ-64, DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, 3x nanoPad 2, 3x DS1H, 7x PS1, FC7 (yes Korg, NOT Yamaha). |

You will like it. Couldn't fit better!
The only problem I've noticed is the end handles. They seem to be designed to stop when extended up 90 degrees so that they don't continue to fold upward when you lift the case. The problem is that after just a couple of uses, these stops seems to give way, and the handles rotate further up than they appear to be designed to go. All in all it's not a bad problem at all. They still seem secure for lifting the case, they just fold in on your hand a bit.

awesome. Glad to hear it. It seems like a decent case (I won't be flying with it) and the price is pretty tough to beat. Looking forward to finally getting this thing out to some shows.
I just snagged this from the "show us your Kronos" thread. Looks pretty good. Thanks for the pic EnjoyRC.

Hi All,
I have recently ordered my Kronos 88 in Australia and am now looking for a case. I have seen the Gator ATA case which seems to match well.
Any other cases that people have that might be worth looking at?
It will need to be tough enough to survive in the back of a van filled with sound gear.
