Well I got a surprise on Monday! I walked into Music Planet to follow up on
Kronos prices and availability and couldn’t believe it when they said they
had six units arriving next week!!! He said they had tried to get twenty but
Korg would only let them have six has the USA had first priority (that sucks)
They had three 61, one 73 and two 88,s coming in, I slapped a deposit on the
Table and now it looks like I will have the very first 73 in New Zealand.
Should be in Auckland next week so hopefully I will have it the following
week. He also said it could up to four months before anymore come into
the country looks like I was in the right place at the right time.
They couldn’t give me a firm price but guaranteed it would be no more
than NZ$5500 (aprox US$3700) which is not to bad considering the exchange rate and our 15% goods tax.

congrats! I've been trying to get a 73 in australia, was going to import but my US supplier hasnt received them so hoping we get some in Brisbane soon. I have been lucky enough to try the 61 here locally though which was fun.

We have a larger population than you.
According to the distributor we have an ETA of mid September!! Sad
