On page 788 of the Kronos parameters guide manual it talks about installed options and plug-ins. Does anyone know of something coming down the pike in the future? |

Still a mystery. Obviously room for expansions like the Oasys. _________________

Only the Editor is known to be published, for the rest we only can wait. I'm sure when something is known it will be announced in this forum (or shortly after an official announcement). _________________

As the Kronos OS is mostly that of the OASYS OS, I would suggest the options part is just part of the big 'port over' to Kronos.
I find it difficult to imagine that Korg will ever go the purchase-able options (like STR-1 for example) route again and have to manage all the licensing that goes along with.
It did make me laugh though when I first test-drove the Kronos and saw the options screen - I thought "why on earth is that there!!!"!!! _________________ Plugged in: Fantom 8, Jupiter-X, Jupiter 80, System-8, JD-XA, V-Synth GTv2, FA-06, SE-02, JU-06A, TR-09, VT-4, Go:Livecast, Rubix44, Shure SM7b, Push2, Ableton 11 Suite, Sibelius, KRK Rokit 5, |

Does it preclude Korg offering free optional EXis that don't need licenses? |

I assume Korg will have purchasable options for the Kronos, perhaps announced at the next Winter NAMM (January, 2012)? _________________ ** KORG Product Support Contacts **

The manual looks like it was converted from the OASYS. There is a section that describes the LED surrounding the pots and next to the sliders. The Kronos has neither of these. My guess is there are other areas of the manual (options for example) that were not removed as well.
