The EQ in the CX3 has flat curves for bass and treble, and an extremely narrow spot for the mid range. I can't imagine that this is how it is intended to work.

You always can use an IFX eq but that's of course more a workaround.

I just wanted give the hint, because it might be a little OS bug.
It's no problem to get other EQing, as you mentioned.

Can anybody confirm that this is not working as intended?

The EQ in the Amp section of the CX-3 is there to let you tweak the amp tone to your liking. High and Low shelving is standard stuff of course. The Mid band is fairly narrow, but it's designed to just give a little more emphasis right around the crossover.

And if you want more EQ, you don't need to add an IFX. Every program has a built in 3 band EQ already.

Yes of course ... forgot about it (don't have a Kronos but the M50, and that one also has the 3 band EQ, same as M3 probably).

Thanks for the answer, Andy.

It just looked a bit TOO narrow compared to high and low shelving to me, and since it is not parametric, that surprised me. As I said, no real problem, just something that made me wonder.

Just not in this little internal EXi EQ, as far as I see. You just get a little kick around 800/900 Hz. You still have the other equalizers though, so no big deal.
