Is there a reason this is in the Kronos Forum?

Mods please move. Thanks.

Yes, eventually the battery will die and then the synth won't work...

Correct; no forum for N364, nor PS60, nor Delta, nor Lambda, nor Sigma, nor Trident, etc, etc, etc - hence why there's the Korg Synths (General) section.

To answer the OP's question - sounds like the N364 is like the Trinity, which means that the circuit board has to come out of the unit so that the battery can be unsoldered. With the Trinity it is common to replace with a soldered in battery holder so that the battery itself can be easily replaced in the future.

But back up your data! - when power is off and battery detached I suspect some if not all data will be lost and will need to be re-installed.

(as per here: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=56836&highlight=replace+battery )

Thanks for the info ... I dont'mind about data loss since I'm using it now only as MIDI keyboard (for my M50), but I need the keyboard to be powered while gigging and don't have a spare battery (yet). They are very common so I'm going to get one soon then Smile

Thans for your suggesions, first of all sorry for the mistake I have posted in koronos forum, bcoz i couldn't find of N364. anyway i solved my problem. first I removed a battery holder from a computer motherboard, then i detached the battery with the holder from korg n364, it is very easy to remove with a soldering iron. the holder which iremoved from mother board is suitable to fix on n364's circuitboard. Now it is working perfect. Thank you if you need any help regarding this, mail me i will help you
