|

I'm adding release samples to a Rhodes sampleset that I brought into the Kronos. Everything is fine except for one thing. I need to be able to control the volume of the release (key-off) samples over time. For example if a loud note is played and immediately released, the key-off sample should be loud. But if the note is held and it decays in volume, the key-off sample should sound at a volume relative to the decayed volume.
Wondering if the Korg programming pros have any tips on this.
Thanks,
Busch. |

Purgatory Creek Mk V?
Sorry I can't help, just beginning to work my way into Kronos sampling.
But I would eventually like to profit from your experience (looking at Scarbee 8V). |

I've got the Mark V Rhodes in at 8 and 10 velocities and I think it plays very nicely. To use release samples, I would be limited to 8 velocities key-on and 8 for key-off. Problem is the OSCs are pretty independent. I need a envelope or timer to start when the key is depressed and then use that to modulate the amplitude of the key off.
I have been trying to use the common LFO, set to a saw at a very slow frequency, but I can't seem to get it to work. I can't figure out how to get it to reset on every key-on and then properly modulate the key-off amplitude.
